Recalls for May 22, 2017

Good morning!  Happy Monday!

This week the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration list of recalls is shorter than usual but the safety issues are just as important as those on long lists.

This week a roof rack might detach from a vehicle.  Other issues include injury due to air bag problems, mislabeling, brake troubles, vehicles that might roll away, trailer hitches that might detach, improper air pressure and more.

If your vehicle is affected by a recall please have it repaired as quickly as possible.  Recall repairs are free of charge.

Recalls for May 15, 2017

Good morning everyone,

Today, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration recall list has safety issues that might not seem important because some of the issues relate to incorrect labeling and certification information. Be this as it may, labels are supposed to provide valuable information such as vehicle weight capacities, tire size information or even how to use equipment.  Incorrect information could certainly cause a safety hazard.  It's important to you and repair shop personnel to have the correct information.

Other safety issues on the list today include air bag problems, fuel leaks, electrical issue, improperly supported equipment, steering troubles, incorrect restraints, windshield wiper troubles, overheating lights and more.

Please review the list.  If your vehicle is affected by a recall please have the free repairs completed as quickly as possible.
