Recalls Of The Day, June 18, 2013

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has announced six new recalls.  One recall was issued for brake problems that may lead to increased stopping distance.  Another recall addresses the possibility of starting an engine while the transmission is engaged.  Yet another issue is the lack of slip resistant material on a step which could cause an individual to fall.  Fire due to trouble in a bearing is another issue.  A backrest could fall off a vehicle causing a road hazard and the vehicle operator could fall onto the road, too.  Lastly, a fault in a battery pack could cause an electric vehicle to stall.  All of these issues might cause personal injury or worse.

If your vehicle is affected please have the impairments repaired as soon as possible.
