Recalls for May 11, 2015

Good morning everyone.  This past weekend, I hope you had time to honor your Mom.

This morning the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is doing it's job of issuing recalls.  There are quite a few.  Issues this week include broken gas lines, air bag problems, broken wheel studs, suspension issues, wipers and lights that quit, a trailer that might detach from a tow vehicle and more.

Besides the military, the NHTSA is one federal department that actually seems to be looking out for us.  If they were not in business I can't imagine vehicles would be as safe as they are today.  And if it wasn't for this department we might not know of defects that could cause us harm.

If your vehicle is affected by a recall please have it repaired as quickly as possible.

Have a safe motoring week.
