Safety Recalls

Chrysler is recalling certain 2012 Ram 1500 trucks due to an improper spare tire.  About 129 vehicles are affected.  The problem is if the spare is installed there is a greater risk of a crash.

Goshen Coach is recalling 2007-2011 Transit vehicles due to a faulty roll-stop on the wheelchair lift.  If the roll-stop is bent or misaligned a wheelchair's occupant could fall and suffer injury. 2,800 vehicles could be affected by this recall.

Ford is recalling approximately 9,400 Windstars in Puerto Rico because the rear axle could break.

Ford is recalling 23,000 Windstars in Virginia that could suffer corrosion related fractures of the front lower control arms.  Another 27,000 Windstars in Virginia are being recalled for corrosion related failures of the rear axle.

Ford is recalling Expeditions, F-150s, Mustangs, and Lincoln Navigators for transmission shift lever issues due to a miscalibrated sensor.  The transmission could be in reverse but the dash indicator may not signal reverse is engaged.  About 10,000 vehicles are affected.'

Navistar is recalling about 19,000 vehicles such as Paystar, Workstar, Transtar, and Prostar commercial trucks for an alternator wire harness that could rub against a power steering hose.  The condition could start a fire.

Chrysler is recalling about 471 Town and Country and Grand Caravans for a faulty liftgate sensor.  The force of the gate closing could cause an injury.

Ducati is recalling about 283 2012 motorcycles because the friction material on the rear brakes could detach  causing a crash.

BMW is recalling about 7,600 3 series vehicles because of a head restraint issue.  In a crash there is an increased risk of injury.

North American Bus Industries is recalling 50 transit buses due to a fault in the steering shaft that could cause a loss of steering.  This could cause a crash.

Chrysler is recalling about 119,000 2011-2012 Chrysler 300s and Dodge Chargers due to a fault in the power distribution center which could cause loss of vehicle control possibly resulting in a crash.

Crossroads RV is recalling about 24 2012 units because an onboard auxilliary fuel tank could leak, cause a fire or explode.

Startrans is recalling 2,060 2007-2010 transit buses for faulty roll-stop that could cause a wheelchair occupant to fall from a wheelchair lift. This could cause injury.

Startrans is recalling about 4 school buses because of bent or misaligned roll-stops that could cause injury to a wheelchair occupant.

Bloomer Trailer Manufacturing is recalling 23 2012 Evolution trailers for faulty brakes which could cause a crash.

Jayco, Incorporated is recalling 66 Jay Flight travel trailers due to improper tire inflation pressure information.  This could result in tire failure and a crash.

Airstream is recalling 12 2012-2013 Eddie Bauer Travel Trailers due to incorrect tire inflation pressure information that could lead to tire failure and a crash.

Reinke Manufacturing Company, Inc. is recalling about 507 Intermodal Chassis frames because the axle could separate and or spindle nuts were not tightened properly causing a wheel to come off.  These conditions could cause a crash.
