The National Highway Traffic Safety Adminstration has issued two recalls. Both of them address the potential for fires.
If your vehicle is affected please have it repaired as soon as possible. Additionally, until your vehicle is repaired consider parking it away from buildings such as your residence and other vehicles to help prevent property damage, injury or worse.

Summary: New Flyer is recalling certain model year 2010-2012 transit buses, models C35LFR, C40LF, C40LFR, D35LFR, D40LFR, D60LFR, DE35LFR, DE40LFR, DE60LFR, XD35, XD40, XDE35, XDE40, XN40, and XN60. Air pressure may leak from the parking brake chambers causing the parking brakes to drag while the vehicle is driven.
Consequence: If the brakes drag, they may overheat, possibly resulting in a fire.
Remedy: New Flyer will notify the owners and the affected brake chambers will be replaced, free of charge. The recall will begin mid-November 2012. Owners may contact New Flyer at 1-204-224-6706 for more information.

Summary: Jaguar is recalling certain model year 2010-2012 XF vehicles equipped with a 5.0L gasoline engine. The affected vehicles may have a fuel tank fuel outlet flange that may crack.
Consequence: The cracked flange may result in fuel leakage onto the ground. This leaking fuel, in the presence of an ignition source, may result in a vehicle fire.
Remedy: Jaguar will notify owners, and dealers will replace the affected fuel tank fuel outlet flanges, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin on, or before, December 7, 2012. Owners may contact Jaguar at 1-800-452-4827.
