National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Tire Recall February 1, 2020

Good morning,

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued a tire recall for Alliance Tires.  The issue is tread separation.  Please review the recall.  If your vehicle is affected by this recall please have the tires replaced as soon as possible.  Replacement is free of charge.  Your life might depend upon it.

Synopsis :
Alliance Tire Americas, Inc. (Alliance Tire) is recalling certain Galaxy DH241-G 16H commercial truck tires in size 11R24.5 with DOT date codes 2519 through 4619. The tires may have been improperly vulcanized, allowing the tread to separate from the casing. The tread separation can reduce vehicle handling, increasing the risk of a crash. Alliance Tire will notify owners, and dealers will replace the tires, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin February 4, 2020. Owners may contact Alliance Tire customer service at 1-844-921-2778.
