Some ignition locks in 2005-2009 General Motors vehicles bind and stick. Affected vehicles include the Chevy Cobalt, Pontiac Solstice, Chevrolet HHR, Pontiac G5 Coupes and Chevrolet Equinox.

Check with your favorite independent or dealership shop about this condition and repair. Installation of the newly designed lock ( part number 20869121) should cure the condition.
