Due to the government shutdown there will be no National Highway Traffic Safety Administration recalls.
It's strange how the government's main constitutional duty is to protect the citizens of the United States Of America. It seems the government does not think protecting American citizens from safety defects in vehicles on our roads is a priority.
Let's hope the shutdown does not cause property damage, injury or death due to uniformed citizens who do not receive notices about defects in a vehicle that could potentially take their life or the lives of others on the roadway.
